Accidental & Emergency Services

Our A&E services are available 12 hours a day (7:30am - 9:00pm) Monday - Sunday to deal with minor emergencies like fits, sudden severe asthma attacks, high fevers etc.

Cancer Screening

Early detection and intervention is essential, particularly for cancer when the consequences of disease may be serious. Accurate early diagnosis of cancer (or pre-cancer) gives the opportunity to start treatment before disease progresses, thus potentially reducing the need for aggressive therapy, reducing the likelihood of metastatic disease, and averting cancer deaths. The Cancer screening package at Columbia Asia is aimed at individuals above 40 years.

The annual program consists of:

• Consultation with Oncologist

Diabetes Clinic (Referral)

The Diabetes Clinic aims at providing you with comprehensive, coordinated care for diabetes, thyroid disease, and metabolism issues. The Clinic specializes in the multiple disciplinary care of diabetic patients and gives special attention to the complications of diabetes. Basic services include assessing the patient's knowledge of diabetes and determining the patient's educational needs.

Hypertension Clinic

The Hypertension clinic protocols have been designed based on AHA guidelines and aims at providing comprehensive management and support for patients who have been diagnosed as hypertensive. The clinic includes patient evaluation through a range of lab, radiology and Cardiology investigations. The aim is prevention / early detection / optimum management of complications of hypertension.

The annual program consists of:

• Laboratory investigations
• X ray chest
• Stress test (individuals who find it difficult to walk on the treadmill will be offered ECG & Echo Cardiology in lieu of stress test)
• Consultation with Dietician (Referral)
• Consultation with Diabetologist (Referral)

Internal Medicine

The department of Internal Medicine has full OPD coverage for addressing complaints related to all systems and treatment of inpatients with problems related to respiratory, cardiac, neurological, endocrine, diabetic complications, perioperative assessment and management of underlying conditions.

Outpatient Services

Our outpatient services are available 12 hours. It is recommended that you take a prior appointment to see a physician at the outpatient clinics.

Pharmacy Services

The pharmacy at Columbia Asia features an integrated system directed towards both inpatients and the medication needs of outpatients.

Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography is another real time imaging modality. Cross sectional images of the scanned portion are visualized through various planes to identify, localize and diagnose the complaint.Doppler examinations to image the blood vessels and profile the haemodynamics within can be carried out on our USG machine.
