More than 400 people attended Columbia Asia Hospital- Iskandar Puteri 7th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, July 22, 2017. The hospital marked the anniversary with the 5km Charity Run and follow by the Columbia Kids Club (CKC) launching. CKC is a loyalty program offered to children born in Columbia Asia Hospitals (CAH) to retain and create engagement with existing members and at the same time to recruit new members.
The hospital’s 7th anniversary Charity Run was to raise fund for the Cerebral Palsy Association to purchase the equipment needed. The event was also part of the hospital Corporate Social Responsibility program to enable more underprivileged people to enjoy quality care. This is in line with hospital vision statement of “We have a Passion for Making People Better”. The Charity run was officiated by Columbia Asia Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer, Kelvin Tan and Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri General Manager, Rahani Yaacob.
Apart from the Charity Run, the hospital has collaborated with Hospital Sultan Ismail for a blood donation campaign. The campaign was to raise awareness of the importance of people giving blood and saving life. There was also free health screening, free physiotherapy & health advisory in different areas of medicine given on the day.
There were also lots of other exciting activities including Charity promotion products by Nestle, Dutch Lady, Tony Fruits, Cellsafe, Stemlife, Food trucks and Kids’ activities such as coloring contest, balloon clown performance and etc.
In conjunction with the anniversary the Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri also took the opportunity to host a Raya Open house for its’ Corporate clients, General Practitioners, Consultants, Partners and staff.
