Tapi bagi ibu hamil, berhati-hati dan kawal pengambilan makanan manis sangat penting. Lebih-lebih lagi yang mengalami\u00a0<em>gestational<\/em>\u00a0<em>diabetes mellitus<\/em>\u00a0(GDM) atau masalah kencing manis ketika hamil.<br \/><br \/>Gula dalam darah atau glukos dikawal oleh sejenis hormon yang dinamakan insulin. Insulin merupakan hormon yang dihasilkan oleh pankreas supaya tahap glukos terkawal dan tidak kekal tinggi.
