CHERAS, December 2025 – This case marks a major development in expanding access to advanced, life-saving stroke treatment for our community. We successfully activated a well-coordinated care pathway within the golden period — from emergency diagnosis and treatment to angiography laboratory intervention, and into structured post-procedure management. This achievement reflects our commitment to elevating stroke care delivery for our surrounding communities and saving more lives when every second counts. 

This milestone was made possible through a strategic collaboration between Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras and PutraCNS, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS) UPM, backed by a multidisciplinary team that brought deep clinical expertise and a unified purpose. Our sincere appreciation goes to Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sobri Bin Muda for co-establishing this service with our consultants at our facility.
