Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil Honored at 43rd MSOSH Awards 2025
KUALA LUMPUR November 13, 2025 – Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil (CAH Bukit Jalil) was honored with the Safety Excellence Elite Award at the 43rd MSOSH Awards 2025, which garnered over 300 participants from public and private organizations nationwide. The ceremony, launched by the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre, aimed to recognize organizations who have demonstrated exemplary Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practices and strong efforts in proactive risk prevention. The event was officiated by Malaysia’s Health Minister YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad.
Teamwork behind the achievement
Representing CAH Bukit Jalil at the ceremony was Quality Assurance Manager and Safety Officer, Ms Satvinder Kaur. The award stands as a shared accomplishment of the Environment, Safety, and Health team together with Columbia Asia’s leadership, whose guidance and support enabled continuous safety improvements and a secure working environment in the hospital.
Abiding by MSOSH’s commitment
In his address, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly emphasized the importance of OSH, stating:
“Prioritizing life and health leads to greater productivity. Occupational Safety and Health is crucial, as healthy workers build a productive nation.”
He reminded attendees that the healthcare sector must lead by example in fostering safe and healthy work environments. He also highlighted that investing in workforce wellbeing is not a cost, but a long-term gain that ensures every worker can return to their homes safely and in good health.

The recognition underscores the hospital’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance. With this award, CAH Bukit Jalil hopes to inspire continued OSH progress within the hospital and across all Columbia Asia facilities, fostering a culture where safety, health, and prevention remain top priorities.
